KLO Professional Billing, Inc. was founded in 1986 at the request of physicians to offer comprehensive medical billing services. Still privately owned and operated, KLO has grown to serve more than 200 physicians in 65 practices while proudly celebrating the company's 20th anniversary. KLO's Executive Committee has more than 60 years combined experience which has allowed the company to better service our clients.

As an active member of the Healthcare Billing and Management Association (www.hbma.org ), KLO receives nation-wide billing information, allowing networking opportunities and points of reference for all specialties. KLO is also an active member of the Great Lakes Chapter of HBMA.

Certified coders, account representatives and clerical support make up KLO's staff. All personnel are cross-trained to assist in multiple areas. Each team utilizes a Revenue Cycle Manager as a point of contact for the client as well as the KLO Executive Committee.

KLO's customer service representatives handle patient phone calls and inquiries. This bilingual group of individuals is extensively trained in both insurance billing and customer service.

KLO's integrated compliance program enforces strict compliance regulations, as designated by the Office of the Inspector General, by combining advanced technologies with the knowledge and experience of our adept compliance team.

KLO's Corporate Compliance Program requires each employee to attend billing-related continuing education courses on an annual basis. KLO's Training and Development coordinator works closely with all new-hires to ensure they adhere to KLO's stringent policies and procedures.
